Documentation conflicts and AI reliability
When two pages disagree, humans hesitate. Agents pick one—and often pick wrong.
Conflicts rarely announce themselves. Pricing on the marketing site, limits in the help center, and exceptions in internal docs create a composite truth that no one owns.
Types of conflict to hunt for
- Confirmed conflicts: incompatible claims with clear evidence.
- Potential conflicts: wording that may disagree under interpretation.
- Outdated content: deprecated pages still linked or indexed.
- Missing canonical source: many answers, no owner.
Check your docs
Run the Documentation Conflict Checker on URLs and exports, then assign owners and publish one governed source of truth in Wiki.
